What I'm Reading Tag

Traci (actinggal) tagged me for "what I'm reading." Yeah!! Thanks, Traci!

Just finished: The Grapes of Wrath (a classic about a family moving to California during the Great Depression)

Just began: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (I'm sure you all know about this book . . . :-))

In the middle of: A Purpose-Driven Life (a Christian book that emphasizes that we need to make honoring and loving God the ultimate purpose of our lives; I'm reading it with Meagan at night)

Chosen by God (about the controversial topic of predestination . . . fun!!)

A Chance to Die (a biography about Amy Carmichael)

The Red Badge of Courage (a novel about a young soldier in the Civil War; I started this ages ago, and need to pick it up again sometime soon . . . .)

I tag
Madison & Karyn.

Hey Michelle, I am reading Kite Runner and love it. Didn't you love Grapes of Wrath? I read that in High School too!
Thanks for the update on your world famous blog, I hope you keep it up when you move back here. We are fine, busy of course. We will be in Coeur d'alene on the 3rd when you return for a couples golf tournament, but will be home on the 6th, so we can plan a welcome home bash then.
See you soon, love you all.

I'm visiting you by way of Miss Erin and wanted to say that Australia is a place I plan to visit some day. I was homeschooled, too. Looking forward to checking out your blog more often

Yes, I did like Grapes of Wrath, and was totally amazed at Steinbeck's writing ability! I don't think I have ever read a book of such high quality.

Hi Draven, or Celise Downs! You should definitely come here for a vacation if you can! Sydney is my favorite city (it's very cosmopolitan and pretty big) probably in the world, but I really haven't been many places! And then Brisbane has some fantastic beaches.... I'm sure you will have a lot of fun here if you do come.
